FATEHGARH SAHIB: The body of a 30-year-old youth, who went missing on October 10, was recovered from the Narwana canal near Buchre bridge late last evening.

The body of a 30-year-old youth, who went missing on October 10, was recovered from the Narwana canal near Buchre bridge late last evening.

Sirhind chowki incharge Harminder Singh said deceased’s father Vijay Gupta, a resident of Patel Nagar of Sirhind, had told the police that his son Rohit had gone to the canal near Sanipur village to dispose of religious items after the Navratras. His son drowned in the canal after he slipped and fell into the canal.
