Cong manifesto almost ready

CHANDIGARH: The state Congress manifesto committee today held a meeting here to give the final shape to the party’s manifesto for the Assembly elections.

The state Congress manifesto committee today held a meeting here to give the final shape to the party’s manifesto for the Assembly elections.

Based on the inputs from members of the committee and party leaders, the draft manifesto will be submitted to the party high command for approval. The party aims to release the manifesto by mid-November.

The meeting was attended by AICC general secretaries Ambika Soni and Asha Kumari, AICC secretary Harish Choudhary, manifesto committee chairperson Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, PPCC senior vice-president Sunil Jakhar, MLAs Brahm Mohindra and Sadhu Singh Dharmsot and Inderjit Singh Zira.

Manifesto committee convener Manpreet Badal said: “ The manifesto is ready and will now be presented to the high command.”
