The activities of gangsters in Punjab figured prominently at a crime review meeting of top police officials with Deputy CM and state Home Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal here today.

He reportedly asked the officers to act swiftly against such criminals and not allow them to become heroes.

The state government is reportedly perturbed at the way gangsters have boasted about the murder of one of them, Jaswinder alias Rocky, and the way they have challenged the police department by mocking an SSP on how they pin their rivals to the ground.
