New Delhi, April 22
Hero Cycles head Pankaj Munjal, who met CM Capt Amarinder Singh here today, has evinced interest in setting up a Rs 400-crore cycle valley near Sahnewal (Ludhiana) on the lines of the Silicon Valley.
The CM asked Munjal to share a detailed report on the project proposal. Capt Amarinder emphasised that any project would be rated on the yardstick of employment to the youth and state’s economic revival. He directed the CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, Anirudh Tiwari to take the discussions forward with the group. — TNS
