District and Sessions Judge BS Sandhu on Tuesday awarded life term to a resident of Ludhiana for killing his sister-in-law. The convict, Des Raj, had burnt Parmit Kaur, wife of his brother-in-law, at Bajidpur village near Chamkaur Sahib on June 28, 2015. Parmit had died on July 12 following which Des Raj was arrested.

Dera chief to release movie
After the screening of “MSG-2 The Messenger” last year, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is all set to release another movie titled “MSG The Warrior — Lion Heart”. He tweeted a 1.01-minute motion poster of his upcoming film.
