One nabbed with Central scheme forms

Acting on an online complaint made to the District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Isha Kalia, the flying squad nabbed a person yesterday as he was allegedly filling application forms under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban Housing) in a village under the Balluana constituency.

Officials said the flying squad led by Naresh Kumar raided the Grahak Sewa Kendra in Taja Patti village and nabbed its franchise Sandeep Kumar with forms which were earmarked for the  urban area but were being filled in the rural area reportedly to lure voters. Legal proceedings were being initiated against him for violating the code of conduct and cheating villagers.
