Four decomposed bodies found in car

LUDHIANA: Decomposed bodies of four men were found in the Sidhwan Canal in Gurthali village near Sahnewal on Thursday, leading police to suspect they could be the four people from Chandigarh who have been missing since January 14.

Decomposed bodies of four men were found in the Sidhwan Canal in Gurthali village near Sahnewal on Thursday, leading police to suspect they could be the four people from Chandigarh who have been missing since January 14.

The bodies were found in a car and were badly decomposed, although their identities have not been confirmed.

Families of the four missing men have been informed.

Pawan Sharma and his relative Jayant Rishi — both residents of Sector 27 — Prabhjot Singh of Sector 42; and Ram Kumar of Sector 23 went missing on January 14 when they visited Ludhiana to meet two people who were arrested by the Basti Jodhewal police in connection with a multicrore fraud.
