HC warrant officer frees 3 youths from illegal custody

HOSHIARPUR: A warrant officer of the Punjab and Haryana High Court raided Hariana police station in this district on Monday night and recovered three youths kept in illegal custody there



Hoshiarpur, May 24
A warrant officer of the Punjab and Haryana High Court raided Hariana police station in this district on Monday night and recovered three youths kept in illegal custody there. Atul Sharma was reportedly picked up by the CIA staff two days ago and his whereabouts were since unknown. His family had filed a habeas corpus writ in the High Court. When the warrant officer reached the police station he found two more youths allegedly confined there illegally. All three were admitted to the civil hospital here. TNS
