Here’s a Punjabi song on demonetisation

Cashing in on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonestisation scheme announced on Tuesday, Punjabi singer-actor Nishawn Bhullar released a single fun-filled track on YouTube on Wednesday lauding the initiative aimed at targeting black money.

The singer felt it to be the best time to showcase his creativity. “I was sitting with friends listening to the news, when they suggested ‘Bhaji is halaat tey koi gaana banao’. And I got down to it.”

Bhullar made the song and uploaded it on YouTube. The track received over 10,000 hits within hours.
