AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal demanded that the entry of PM Narendra Modi should be banned in Parliament for “compromising national security”.

“If (Bhagwant) Mann could be held guilty for putting the security of the Parliament House at risk, then how could Modi be granted immunity for breaching the security of Pathankot air base,” he said at a rally at Tangra near here.

On demonetisation, he alleged that it was a scam of not less than Rs 8 lakh crore designed by PM Modi. He said the nation wanted to know the source through which huge wealth was accumulated by the BJP leaders. “A common man is in the queue for getting just Rs 2,000, whereas BJP leaders are in news for possessing crores in new currency. Demonetisation is a well conceived move to deceive the common citizen,” he claimed.

He raised issues such as drug menace, unemployment and corruption and vowed to resolve them and introduce welfare and development-oriented schemes.

He alleged that threatened by AAP’s rising popularity, PPCC chief Capt Amarinder Singh and SAD president Sukhbir Badal reached a secret pact to contest the Assembly elections by fielding candidates with mutual understanding.

He alleged that the Badal government had withdrawn a corruption case against Amarinder and in return as the Congress refrained from acting against the “SAD-sponsored” multi-crore drug racket.
