SAD candidate General JJ Singh on Wednesday lashed out at Capt Amarinder Singh for calling him an “ordinary cadet”.

He alleged that Amarinder himself was never a true soldier nor a representative of the people.

Calling the Punjab Congress chief a “failed politician”, the retired general said, “Under his leadership the PPCC has faced rout twice. And he will be leading the party to a complete devastation in the coming Assembly election.”

Meanwhile, Amarinder on Wednesday filed his nomination for the Assembly election from Lambi, the constituency of CM Parkash Singh Badal.
