Justice Mittal resigns as Punjab Lokpal

CHANDIGARH: Justice Satish Kumar Mittal on Monday resigned as Punjab Lokpal. He will be joining as chairman of Haryana Human Rights Commission.

Chandigarh, April 23

Justice Satish Kumar Mittal on Monday resigned as Punjab Lokpal. He will be joining as chairman of Haryana Human Rights Commission.

Mittal, a retired Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, was appointed as Punjab Lokpal in November 2016.

The Haryana Human Rights Commission was sans a chairman for long as former Chairman Justice Vijender Jain had retired on August 1, 2016.
