Juvenile held for rape

An eight-year-old student of a government school in Chukerian village of Mansa district has been allegedly raped by a juvenile of the same school, who is also the victim’s cousin. He has been arrested.

The police have registered a case against the juvenile on the complaint of the victim’s mother. “On the complaint of the vicitim’s mother, we have registered a case against the juvenile and will produce him in a juvenile court,” the police said.
