Labour Inspector booked for preparing fake documents

Fazilka: Labour Inspector Ajay Kumar and typist Kanwaljit Singh, resident of Lakhe Ke Musahib village in the district, have been booked for allegedly preparing fake documents of government-run benefit schemes here. Sources said Kanwaljit Singh, who had a shop in local courts, in alleged connivance with Labour Inspector Ajay Kumar used to prepare fake documents of benefit schemes of the Centre and state governments by taking money from innocent and poor people. Investigating officer Bhajan Singh said Kanwaljit Singh had been arrested, but the Labour Inspector was at large. OC
