Malerkotla to be made district, says minister Razia Sultana

SANGRUR: Punjab minister and Malerkotla MLA Razia Sultana on Monday said Malerkotla would be made a district. She was speaking after attending the Eid function there.

Sangrur, June 26

Punjab minister Razia Sultana on Monday said Malerkotla would be made a district.

She was speaking after attending the Eid function there. Later, Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu also said that Malerkotla would be upgraded to a district.

Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal announced Rs 1 crore for the Eidgah at Malerkotla.
