Abohar, September 17

The body of Ravinder Singh (50) who was serving as a headmaster of the Government High School, Usmankhera village in Abohar, was found in Gang Canal.

Preliminary investigation reportedly indicated that he left the school in his car after marking attendance on September 14 at 10.30 am. His family in Sriganganagar late evening informed the local police that he had not returned to his Aggarwal Colony residence. A search was carried out. His car was later found abandoned near the canal in Sadhuwali village. — OC
