Faridkot, January 27

Pavit, a girl of Moga town, has secured All-India sixth rank in Indian Economic Service (IES) exam 2023-24 conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

She completed her BA (Hons) in Economics from Delhi University with distinction and was also a student of Panjab University, Chandigarh. She is also a Junior Research Fellowship holder.

Pavit is maternal niece of Jatinder Singh Aulakh, the former state intelligence chief who has been appointed chairman, Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) last week. Pavit credits her achievement to her teacher Rajesh Kumar Prashar.
