Some local residents on Monday reportedly saved a 10-year-old girl from molestation by a 30-year-old man.
After thrashing the man, they handed him over to the police. Sources said the man was in an inebriated condition. He tried to molest the girl after entering her house on the Kotli road here.
The police said the man was detained and action would be taken after recording the statement of the girl’s family.
