Muktsar: The Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on Thursday issued show-cause notices to two private hospitals of Muktsar for not disposing of the bio-medical waste as per rules. These are Rajindra Hospital and Anand Hospital. “Three hospitals were checked on Thursday and two of them were found to be flouting rules so notices were served,” said Daljit Singh, SDO, PPCB. These hospitals have been asked to follow the waste management rules, he added. TNS
