Pathankot, March 4

The body of an Australia-based NRI, Hardev Singh, was found near Parmanand township, 12 km from Pathankot, late last night.

“It is a case of murder. A morning walker today informed the police that the body of a middle-aged man was lying near the main gate of a school,” SSP Daljinder Singh Dhillon said.

Hardev, his wife and son had shifted to Australia in 2017. He had arrived in India a few days ago.
