Faridkot, May 30
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) on Monday evening changed the date of Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET). The PMET will be held on June 11 instead of June 12 as announced earlier.
The reason for rescheduling the online examination date is inadequate availability of computers on June 12. Over 16,000 students have applied to appear in the PMET for about 2,100 MBBS and BDS seats in seven medical and 14 dental colleges in the state.

For the first time, BFUHS is conducting the PMET online. As the service providing company for this online test was facing problem in arranging over 16,000 sets of computers on June 12, so the examination date has been rescheduled, said Dr Raj Bahadur, vice-chancellor of BFUHS.
