Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will be on a three-day Punjab tour from October 23.
His visit will focus on wooing the industry and the trader community in the state. On day one, Kejriwal will land in Ludhiana and release the party’s third manifesto for the industrial community. He will hold a meeting with the industrialists at Mandi Gobindgarh the same evening and then travel to Sangrur.
Kejriwal will hold a meeting with the traders in Sangrur in the morning and have lunch with industrialists in Bathinda on day two. On October 24 evening, he will interact with the community in Jalandhar and stay over in Doaba.
On the third day of his tour, he will move to Majha. He will interact with the traders in Batala in the morning. His lunch has been fixed with industrialists in Gurdaspur. He will be moving to Amritsar soon after for another meeting with the community there, before returning to Delhi.
AAP state joint secretary Major Singh said: “After the release of youth and farmer manifestoes, we are expecting a good response from the business community too.”
