Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Wednesday said the state government would bring in a new agriculture policy to waive all farmers' debts in the state.
Addressing a rally here, the Chief Minister said that contrary to Akali rhetoric they would not be billing farmers for tubewell connections.
He said the Punjab government would bring in a policy to revive groundwater in the state.
Apart from farmer loan disbursals, he also allocated Rs 113 crore to Shahkot and Rs 50 crore to Nakodar for development projects.
