Ferozepur, February 26
Re-polling at three booths of Ward No. 14 in Ferozepur will take place on March 8. The Election Commission has issued a notification issued on the matter.
Polling was countermanded at these booths after discrepancies were observed in the voters’ lists. The matter was raised by a Congress and two Independent candidates.
Sandeep Singh Garha, Returning Officer, said the voting would take place between 8 am and 5 pm at the same booths and the counting would be done immediately after the polling. — OC
