Sangrur: A 40-year-old married woman died of swine flu at Shadihari village here on Friday. The Health Department has started scanning her relatives and other residents of the village to prevent the spread of disease. The victim, Simranjeet Kaur, was first admitted to a local Sangrur hospital last week, but when her health deteriorated, she was taken to a private hospital in Mohali. "She died in Mohali. We have scanned all her family members and all are fine. Department officials are also supervising the health of other fellow villagers to prevent the spread of disease," said Dr Prempal Gill, District Health Officer, Sangrur. TNS
