SGPC for citizenship to Sikhs from Afghanistan

Muktsar: SGPC chief Gobind Singh Longowal on Wednesday said he had appealed to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj that the Sikhs who had come from Afghanistan should be given citizenship here.

Muktsar: SGPC chief Gobind Singh Longowal on Wednesday said he had appealed to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj that the Sikhs who had come from Afghanistan should be given citizenship here. Longowal said the SGPC would take the responsibility of education of their children, if they decided to settle here. tns
