Two youths of Bhambotad village drowned in the Kandi canal on Monday.
One body was retrieved late Monday evening, while the second was fished out on Tuesday morning.
As per information, Charanjit Singh (18) and Ramesh Kumar, alias Pankaj (19), both from Bhambotad village, left their homes on a bike to go to the Sewa Kendra at Kamahi Devi on Monday morning. They had to get prepared some documents for recruitment in the Army. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families after a post-mortem. —OC
