What I do after 6 pm is nobody’s business: Sidhu

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Local Bodies, Tourism and Culture Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu said on Tuesday that he would abide by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s decision on whether he should quit his popular television show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, even though he added it was “not office of profit”.

Punjab Local Bodies, Tourism and Culture Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu said on Tuesday that he would abide by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s decision on whether he should quit his popular television show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, even though he added it was “not office of profit”. 

After Chief Minister Singh said he would seek legal opinion on whether Sidhu’s continued appearance in the popular show would create a conflict of interest. 

“Sometimes I work all 7 days from early morning till 6 pm. So, what I do after 6 pm is nobody's business. It's not office of profit,” Sidhu said, although he added: “The boss is always right’”.

This came hours after his wife, former MLA Navjot Kaur Sidhu, said he would comply with the chief minister’s decision. — Agencies
