Woman ends life

Abohar: Sandeep Kaur (41) reportedly ended her life by jumping into a water reservoir near her house in Haripura village at Hanumangarh. Her family said she was feeling upset for the past few days, but did not share the cause with her family. OC

Youth consumes pesticide

Abohar: Kaka Singh (24) of Sunderpur village in Sadulshehar tehsil, who had reportedly consumed insecticide at his house, died at the Civil Hospital in Sriganganagar on Tuesday night. The body was handed over to his parents after a postmortem on Wednesday. OC

Two die in accidents

Abohar: Sheenam (25) of Amarpura village died and five others were injured as a jeep overturned near Khairuwala village. Motorcyclist Kartar Singh (21) of Bhagwansar village died as the two-wheeler collided with a truck on the Sriganganagar-Suratgarh stretch of the highway. OC
