Framed paintings on your walls, pretty sculptures in your room corners and even the setting of your dressing table can create wonders in your daily routine life activities. When placed in the right direction, these can prove beneficial for a happy and smooth life. Placing all of them according to Vaastu can generate positive energy in your life. Here are a few ways and art forms that should be placed according to Vaastu in your home:

Figures of Buddha

If you have a collection of beautiful art figures then placing them in an appropriate direction can lead to many benefits for you and your family as well. Like, if you have a figure of Buddha, then place it in the north-east (NE) Vaastu zone of your home. According to Directions of Alchemy in Vaastu Shastra, North-East zone is responsible for your connectivity with your own self. When you place a symbol of a spiritually elevated figure like lord Buddha, it sends a message to the space of your house that you want to get connected with your higher self. Accordingly the space energies starts programming your subconscious mind and you feel connected. This connectivity, in turn, facilitates new ideas, creativity and clarity of mind for you.

Wall paintings

In MahaVastu, wall paintings are a very powerful tool to programme one’s building for manifestation of one’s desires. Each painting conveys an emotion and has certain elements representing it. Its placement is decided accordingly. For example, a village scene is a powerful MahaVastu remedy to get your own house. Since it represents gains, so ideally it should be placed on the western wall in the house. Similarly, a painting of greenery is related with air element and represents growth. So, it can be placed in north MahaVastu zone, which is a zone of new opportunities.

A pair of white horses

You can place a sculpture of a pair of white horses in the north-west zone of your home. It will facilitate financial support like bank loan, for you.

Wind chimes

These are the most common products that people use in their homes as a decorative item. Wind chimes can be placed in north, north-west and west Vaastu zones in your home. In north, you can place a wind chime made up of five rods as this will attract new opportunities in your career. In north-west, use a six rod chime to motivate your supporters to work towards your gains and benefits. Similarly, a seven rod wind chime in west brings overall gains for you.

Cupid

There is now a trend of placing a cupid figure or painting in bedroom. It’s quite strange to use these as a decor product in homes but they can affect your life in a positive way. Cupid is a symbol of love and according to directions of alchemy in Vaastu Shastra, it should be placed in south-west, the zone of love. For a newly wed couple, it can also work as a stimulator of passion when placed in north-north-west — the zone of Rati (goddess of sex).

Dancing girl’s statue

A statue of a dancing lady represents emotion of enjoying self and also practice. Accordingly, it can be placed in east-north-east Vaastu zone of happiness and rejuvenation. When placed there, dancing will make you feel rejuvenated and joyous. Moreover, you will feel established in your own self. Similarly, it can be placed in west-south-west also. In this zone, it will encourage you to devote regular time for your hobbies. By all means you must avoid placing it in west-north-west zone which is a zone of of depression.
