The second edition of International Real Estate Expo (IREX) will be held from October 7 to 9 in New Delhi.



The second edition of International Real Estate Expo (IREX) will be held from October 7 to 9 in New Delhi. IREX is an annual show that presents investment avenues to HNIs who intend to invest in international real estate and premium luxury properties.  As many as 35 international developers and marketing companies will showcase over 100 projects at the expo. Some of the major participants at IREX 2016 are: Damac Properties, Al Marjan Island and Rak Properties from UAE, Century 21, Berkeley Homes and Ballymore from UK, Compass from USA, McMillan Hathaway from Australia, Patroclos and Korantina Homes from Cyprus, Dusit Thani from Sri Lanka, Angel Real Estate from Thailand, among others. The investments range from Rs 2 crore onwards.

IREX will also bring Indian property brokers in touch with international property developers, so that they can work for them as their local sales agents/representative in India. 

IREX is supported by National Association of Realtors (NAR) that has 1.1 million members from all over India. 

Mittal to head ASSOCHAM realty committee

ASSOCHAM has appointed Prateek Mittal, Executive Director of SUSHMA Group, as the first Chairman of Real Estate & Infrastructure Regional Committee.  With ASSOCHAM opening its Northern chapter in Chandigarh, a sector-wise committee has been devised to initiate and encourage collaborative thought process, explore new trends, opportunities & challenges in entrepreneurship and youth empowerment. 

On taking over as the Chairman of the Regional Committee of Real Estate and Infrastructure, Mittal said, “The committee would work closely with the state governments to streamline the implementation of RERA so that issues of all the stakeholders can be resolved in a structured manner.”

Brigade Group's  MoU with NestAway

In a move that will ensure organised rental assistance to its customers Bengaluru-based Brigade Group has signed an MoU with NestAway, a rental solutions provider. Through this collaboration the Brigade Group will offer comprehensive rental assistance to all of its existing customers as well as over 10,000 apartments in different stages of construction that will be handed over to customers soon. NestAway is India's largest 'managed home rental marketplace. — Agencies
