Nine hundred and twenty candidates have filed their nomination from the 102 constituencies of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, according to information reaching here tonight. Today was the last date for making nominations.
Part I Election series: Punjab Assembly Elections 1951-52
Part II Election series: Punjab Assembly Elections — 1957
Part III Election series : Punjab Assembly Elections — 1962
Part IV Election series : Punjab Assembly Elections — 1967
Part V Election series : Punjab Assembly Elections — 1969
Information from the two constituencies of Ferozepore district, namely, Nihalsinghwala and Gidderbaha, is expected only tomorrow.
The scrutiny of nominations will be held tomorrow. The last date for withdrawals is February 14.The poling will be held on March 11.
