Antonio strike helps Kerala hold Mumbai

MUMBAI: Antonio German struck in the penultimate minute to help Kerala Blasters FC hold Mumbai City FC 1-1 in their Indian Super League match here today.

Mumbai, November 26

Antonio German struck in the penultimate minute to help Kerala Blasters FC hold Mumbai City FC 1-1 in their Indian Super League match here today.

In the end, it was a fair result as both the sides had their moments in the game. If the first half belonged to the Mumbai team, the second was dominated by the visitors, especially in the later stages.

Kerala's English winger German cancelled out Juan Aguilera's first-half goal right at the death to level matters, leaving both the teams searching for two wins in as many games to have a far-away chance of making it to the semifinals. Kerala are at the bottom of the eight-team table, while Mumbai just a place above. — PTI
