Harmanpreet yet to sign up with Sydney
Australian T20 cricket franchise Sydney Thunder has clarified that while it is interested in roping in Indian all-rounder Harmanpreet Kaur, no contract has yet been signed with the Punjab girl. Sydney Thunder general manager Nick Cummins has termed the reports of her signing up with the franchise as “premature”, though he confirmed that the club had been in talks with Harmanpreet. “We have been in discussions with Harmanpreet about joining Sydney Thunder,” Cummins was quoted as saying by the Cricket Australia website. “At the moment no contract has been signed by the player or the club.” — TNS
