Virat Kohli took to social media to pay a tribute to “brother” AB de Villiers after the South African great announced his decision to quit international cricket. “Wish you all the best in everything that you do my brother. You’ve changed the way batting was seen in the time you’ve played international cricket. My best wishes to you and your family for this amazing journey ahead @ABdeVilliers17,” Kohli wrote on Twitter.

CAB awaiting SC’s July 5 hearing: Ganguly

Cricket Association of Bengal president Sourav Ganguly said they would wait for the Supreme Court’s hearing on July 5 on implementing the Lodha Committee’s recommendations. “We will wait for Supreme Court’s final order on July 5,” the former India captain said after their SGM today. The SC-appointed CoA has now written to the state associations, asking them to act even before the hearing. “It’s mentioned in the letter that you cannot make state constitution till the formation of BCCI’s constitution. We will wait for the hearing,” Ganguly added.

Ludhiana clocked 3:11.36seconds to bag the top spot. Mohali (3:22.0s) and Patiala 3:52.1 seconds bagged the second and third spot. In the girls event, Ludhiana clocked 3:28.29s, Mohali (3:37.65s) and Jalandhar (3:57.65s) to bag the top honours. — Agencies
