Chennaiyin FC produced another superlative performance to overwhelm Delhi Dynamos by a whopping 4-0 margin and put themselves in contention for the play-offs in the second Indian Super League here today. Jeje Lalpekhlua got a brace, while Bruno Pelissari and Stiven Mendoza scored a goal each.
Chennaiyin dominated the game almost throughout the 90 minutes, though there were a few counter attacks by Delhi Dynamos.
With this win, Chennaiyin jumped to the fourth spot and pushed NorthEast United and Pune City to fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
Last year’s semifinalists, Chennaiyin will be playing Mumbai in their last league tie on December 1. — PTI
