NOTTINGHAM:On a high after an impressive T20 series win, an upbeat India will be eyeing another dominant performance against hosts England in a three-match ODI series, which can be termed as a dry run ahead of next year’s World Cup.

On a high after an impressive T20 series win, an upbeat India will be eyeing another dominant performance against hosts England in a three-match ODI series, which can be termed as a dry run ahead of next year’s World Cup. 

England, a top side  

England have been one of the finest 50-overs sides in recent times and India will have their task cut out against a batting line-up comprising Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Jonny Bairstow and Eoin Morgan. Add Ben Stokes to the mix, and England look even more formidable.  The series will enable the Indian team management to try out various combinations, keeping the World Cup in mind. — PTI
