Football Academy Mahilpur overpowered Football Academy Paldi by a solitary goal to enter the final of the college category in the All-India Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial Football Tournament at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur.
Vipal Kala scored the winner in the 34th minute. In the club category, Indian Air Force New Delhi stunned JCT Academy Phagwara 5-0.
Kamaldeep scored the first goal in the fifth minute for the New Delhi outfit. Sourav doubled the lead in the 21st minute.
Prabhjot added a brace (31st min and 36th min) to take a 4-0 lead in the first half. The airmen scored the fifth goal in the 84th minute through Kamaldeep. ONGC Mumbai defeated hosts Harbhajan Sporting Club Mahilpur 3-0. Jagdeep opened the account in the 40th minute. — TNS
