Chandigarh, July 19
For the first time, twelve top golf professionals from India are about to embark on an 18-city, 45-day IAPGA 2015 US Golf Tour. Chandigarh’s Sujjan Singh, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Gurbaaz Mann, Abhijit Singh Chadha alongwith Angad Cheema, Amardeep Malik, Abhishek Jha, Shubhankar Sharma and Rahul Bajaj are amongst the professionals who will be participating in the events and travelling from venue to venue, meeting and playing with golf enthusiasts on different golf courses.
“It’s pretty exciting! Arjun has agreed to join us and I am speaking to Daniel Chopra as well,” said Mann, one of the managers and the driving force behind the idea to create the IAPGA.
Having travelled the US, talking to fellow golfers in every city he could manage, Mann has had this dream for seven years. “We know there is a huge network. It is just a matter of connecting.” — TNS
