CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Chess Association will host the open (U-15) and girls’ chess championship at St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, from September 5 to 6.

The Chandigarh Chess Association will host the open (U-15) and girls’ chess championship at St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, from September 5 to 6.

Four top performers in the boys and girls categories will be selected to represent Chandigarh in the nationals to be held in Jammu and Kashmir from September 21 to 29. Interested players can register with the organisers before September 4 at www.chessinchandigarh.com. — TNS
