The women’s sepak takraw team of Panjab University finished third in the regu category in the All India Inter-University Championship at Kumaun University in Nainital, Uttarakhand. The team defeated Kumaun University 21-8 and LPU, Phagwara, 21-5.

The men’s team of Panjab University finished third in the All India Inter-University Tennis Championship at Guru Jambheswar University, Hisar. The team defeated SV University, Tirupati , 3-0 to claim the third position. The team included Yuvraj Singh, Shrey Gupta, Paramveer Singh Bajwa (the three from DAV College, Sector 10), Manjot Singh (PU campus) and Param Pun (GGDSD College, Sector 32). —TNS
