CHANDIGARH:Haryana bagged both men’s and women’s titles in the 28th Senior National Circle Kabaddi Championship, which concluded at Panjab University grounds here today.

Chandigarh, April 3 

Haryana bagged both men’s and women’s titles in the 28th Senior National Circle Kabaddi Championship, which concluded at Panjab University grounds here today. 

In the women’s category, Haryana drubbed Punjab 45-19 to win the final with Ratna, Aarti , Roshni and Sangeeta winning most of the points for the winners. Sukhveer Kaur and Rajni were main contributors for Punjab. 

Earlier in the semifinals, Haryana eves registered a 26-8 victory against Chandigarh, while Punjab dumped Delhi 23-5. 

In men’s category, Haryana humbled Allied India 30-12 in the final. Ravi, Sheelu, Parveen and Anil did the bulk of scoring for Haryana, while Lucky and Bacchi were the main scorers for Allied India. 

In the semis, Haryana outplayed Chandigarh 29-17, while Allied India overcame Punjab 27-24.
