Enormous Indian influence on British music scene: Jimmy

British band UB40’s drummer Jimmy Brown says India has had a huge influence on the British music scene.

“Although I’ve been surrounded by Hindi music while growing up, I can’t really say who the artistes are, but there is also a lot of fusion music with Indian influence, like Asian Dub Foundation and Nitin Sahwney,” Jimmy said. “India has had an enormous influence on the British music scene,” he adds.
