Act apart: Michelle Pfeiffer

Michelle Pfeiffer, who took a break from Hollywood after the 2013 film “The Family”, and is a three-time Oscar nominee, justified her four-year long absence. “Well, the first thing that comes to mind is that I’m an empty nester now. I’ve never lost my love for acting. I feel really at home on the movie set. I’m a more balanced person, honestly, when I’m working,” Pfeiffer said.

“But, I was careful about where I shot, how long I was away, whether or not it worked out with kids’ schedule, and I got so picky. And now, I really want to work, because I can.” She has two children, Claudia (23) and John (22), with writer and husband David E. Kelley.  —IANS
