The year 2017 has come with a full packed Bollywood masala in its treasure. The year has many promising movies and sequels scheduled. With some fresh release dates being announced, we have many big budget films that would be clashing at box office this year.Let’s have a look... 

Sarkar 3 vs Begum Jaan 

Vidya Balan’s film Begum Jaan’s first look was out recently creating huge buzz. The movie will release in March and would clash with the political crime thriller, written and directed by Ram GopalVarma Sarkar 3. Sarkar, being a big brand, has Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan have given hit films together such as Paa and Te3n. This would be the first time they would be feeling the clash heat.

Chef vs Haseena

Shraddha Kapoor is busy shooting for Haseena — The Queen of Mumbai currently which will release on July 14. Saif Ali Khan- starrer and remake of Hollywood film Chef has also been announced for the same date. With Shraddha having multiple releases this year, Haseena is surely going to give a tough time to Chef Saif.

Bhoomi vs Secret Superstar

The release date of Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film Bhoomi has been announced. Directed by Omung Kumar, Bhoomi, will hit the screens on August 4. But the film will be clashing with Aamir Khan’s home production Secret Superstar. Although Aamir would be having just a cameo in the film, still both the movies are big releases.

Crack vs The Ring

Another huge clash as two biggest superstars, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan will lock horns. Akshay Kumar’s Crack is a thriller to be directed by Neeraj Pandey. Whereas, The Ring (still a working title) marks SRK’s first collaboration with Imitiaz Ali. We can surely expect some fireworks as it is going to be Crack vs The Ring on Aug 11.

Rangoon vs Ghazi

Two war based films, both releasing together, this would be an interesting clash. Ghazi is a bilingual project starring Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu. On the other hand Vishal Bhardwaj’s magnum opus Rangoon, based on World War II, stars Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut. Both movies are slated to release in February with a gap of one week. 

Toilet: EkPrem Katha vs Raabta

Post the grand success of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sushant Singh Rajput’s Raabta is one of the most anticipated films of this year. The movie was initially scheduled to release on February 10 but then got June 9 as the final release date. Akshay Kumar’s film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will hit theatres on June 2, just one week before Raabta. 

Robot 2.0 vs Golmaal Again

The much-awaited sequel of Rajnikanth’s Robot will finally arrive on Diwali 2017. This Akshay Kumar-starrer Robot 2.0 would be clashing with Rohit Shetty’s big brand Golmaal. The dream team of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn is back for the fourth instalment of Golmaal. Titled Golmaal Again, the movie stars Parineeti Chopra in a female lead. 

Tiger Zinda Hai vs Sanjay Dutt’s biopic

The buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt will clash with ex-lover Katrina Kaif’s Tiger Zinda Hai at the box office this Christmas. Salman and Katrina are reuniting on screen after a gap of 5 years and expectations are high from this Abbas Ali Zafar directorial venture. And it is for the first time that Ranbir and Katrina will be at loggerheads professionally.
