"If Home Rule were Granted to India,"

A CORRESPONDENT  in an article to the Civil and Military Gazette points out what a perilous course the Mussalmans of the Punjab are adopting in supporting the Home Rule demand. He is much distressed to find the joint Hindu-Mahomedan movement and says that if Home Rule were granted to India, many evil things will arise. What happens is picturesquely described in the following words:-"The adverse forces begin to work with a vengeance and under their all-crushing pressure the runners of the Home Rule fail in the discharge of their heavy responsibilities, and the country is thrown in a state of wild confusion. How will you bring back the old normal conditions? How will you avert the reign of terror and anarchy? Who will be held responsible for such a terrible cataclysm!"
