A Treat for the Lepers.

REV. E. Guilford of Tarn Taran, who is doing splendid work for lepers, makes a touching appeal for an entertainment to them on Christmas. We trust his call will meet with a hearty response as has been the case in the preceding years, and the fact will also be remembered that prices of necessaries of life have gone up largely, so that a larger amount will be necessary this year. The call is one of philanthropy and will doubtless appeal to all classes and creeds alike. Indians in particular have a special duty to their afflicted brethren, and should make it convenient to make a generous response.
