WE cannot congratulate the Associated Press on the promptitude its agents show in telegraphing official news. A Simla telegram, dated the 26th, gives us a glimpse into the maritime trade of Burma. The "message" is merely a clipping of the second paragraph on page 2 of the report. Our complaint, however, is not with regard to the clipping of this paragraph or of that, but with regard to the necessity of clipping and telegraphing fully a fortnight after the publication of the report at Rangoon. This report was received at Lahore in this office in the second week of June, if not earlier.
