THE annual prize distribution of the Dayanand Anglo-Vedic High School Lahore, which owes its remarkable success to the selfless devotion and strenuous efforts of Bakhshi Ram Rattan, B.A., B.T., the capable and enthusiastic Headmaster and the interest of the D.A.V. College Committee, came off on Sunday last and was a great and unqualified success. The Headmaster in his report for the year brought out the good work done by the institution which had repeated the success of the preceding years in sending up for the Matriculation examination the largest number of boys of schools in the Province, in passing the largest number of boys and in securing the largest number of scholarships. Apart from these academic successes, the year had been one of great activity in the various directions. The boarding house building had been completed, Hansraj Hall had been provided with a marble floor and the gallery therein had been finished.
