Hindu-Moslem good will in Lahore.

THE Hindu and Moslem residents of Lahore have equal reason to feel gratified at the cordiality and good will shown by the latter towards the Ram Lila procession which passed through the streets of the city. Led by Khan Bahadur Sardar Mohammad Ali Khan Kazilbash, Vice-President of the Municipal Committee, who also accompanied the procession on horseback, the Mahomedans of Lahore showed a large-heartedness in receiving and entertaining barat procession of Sri Ram Chandraji all along the route. At short stages they had put on booths were aerated waters, milk, betel leaves and cigarettes were freely served to their Hindu brethren with a cordially that did good to the heart to see. These places of hospitality were set up by individuals as well as bodies of men in markets and streets by collections among themselves.
